An empty inbox does not always mean a message was lost. The sender may not have sent it yet, the address may be wrong or the page may have stopped checking. Follow these steps before switching address.

Compare the complete address

Compare the registration form with the address currently shown in Temp-Mail.se. Check for spaces, typing errors and a missing domain. Copy rather than type. New address changes the inbox; messages to the old address do not move to the new one.

Check the timer and connection

New messages are checked every five seconds in an active session. At zero the automatic checks stop. Extending resets the free timer to 10 minutes or the Premium timer to 60 minutes. Check your internet connection and use Refresh during an active session. Repeated refreshing does not make the sender send sooner.

Confirm the sender completed the request

Check for errors or extra confirmation steps on the sending website. Some systems queue email or limit repeat requests. Follow any stated waiting time. A newly requested code may invalidate an earlier one; that behavior is controlled by the sender.

Read the message if the suggested code fails

Code detection uses text patterns and may select an order number or another number. Use the code identified by the sender in the message. Extending the inbox timer does not extend a verification code’s validity.

Check whether disposable email is accepted

Some websites block temporary domains. A different address on temp-mail.se still has the same domain, so it will not resolve a domain block. Use a permanent address or contact the website’s support. Delivery is not guaranteed.

Contact support with useful details

If the address is correct, the session is active and the sender confirms sending, contact us with the attempt time, sending service and error message. Do not send passwords, access tokens, verification codes or sensitive message content. For important accounts, use a permanent address.
